About

Masjid Al-Imam Al-Albani is a mosque located in Brooklyn, New York City, dedicated to teaching and practicing Islam upon the Sunnah according to the understanding of the pious predecessors (As-Salaf As-Salih).

The imam of the masjid is Shaykh Abu Dujanah, one of the early students of Dammaj in Yemen. He studied under Imam Muqbil Ibn Hadi Al-Wadi'i (May Allah have Mercy on him) for 7 years. The shaykh gives daily lessons, focusing on beneficial knowledge and adherence to the Sunnah.

Please note: Masjid Al-Imam Al-Albani currently does not have sufficient space to accommodate sisters.

Lessons

When are they?

Between Maghrib and Isha every day.

What's being taught?

Currently: Kitab At-Tawheed, Bulugh Al-Maram, and Al-Jaami' As-Saheeh.

Are there translators?

English translators are always available, while translators for other languages are only sometimes available.

Is there anything I should bring?

Ideally, one should bring a notebook and something to write with.

Are the lessons broadcasted/recorded?

Yes, live lessons can be streamed on our Mixlr, and past lessons can be found on our YouTube channel.

Are there PDFs available for the books?

Yes, they can be found here.
